Production Specialist

Position Type: Full-time/Part-time w/ flexible weekday hours
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Specialist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced print shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on precision and quality control, ensuring all products meet the highest standards. This role requires someone who thrives in a meticulous environment, enjoys working with hands-on tasks, and takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials, including brochures, banners, business cards, and other printed products.
• Set up and prepare machines for various printing tasks, ensuring that all specifications and requirements are met.
• Inspect finished products for any defects or imperfections, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Adjust machinery and perform minor maintenance to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Package and label products according to customer orders, ensuring all items are handled carefully and processed without damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
• Work closely with the quality control team to resolve any issues or discrepancies in printed products.
• Follow detailed work orders and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Assist in inventory management, ensuring proper stock levels of materials and supplies.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve production processes and achieve production targets.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts and equipment precisely.
• Basic understanding of printing technologies and equipment is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
