Winter Solstice Family Snowshoe
Dress in layers and bring your snowshoes(if you don't have them, just stay in the back as the trail will get packed down). We will hike the newly created trail at Lily Creek, one of KLT's newest nature areas open to public access. We will hike to a point of the trail where we would like to give thanks for the gift of wild places in general in Lily Creek specifically. There each family represented can hang a straw ornament and after some energizing cookies, we will finish the approximately 0.8 mile loop. All ages welcome, come with family or friends or by yourself! If you can't make it on the solstice, come check it out when you have time!
