We will be holding our third Keweenaw Alliance Virtual Breakfast Thursday, January 14th starting at 7:30 a.m.
Please note that this is one day later than normal due to the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce's annual meeting on Wednesday morning.
Our January program will focus on where we are with the management of the virus in the community, the vaccination of the population and how the healthcare and education sectors are currently moving forward. Added information will be provided on the social and economic impacts and efforts.
Presenters include: Kate Beer, Health Officer, Western UP Health Department; Ed Freysinger, CEO, UP Health System Portage; Sarah Schulte, General Counsel & Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Michigan Technological University; Erin Barnett, Dean of Students, Finlandia University; George McNulty, President, Gogebic Community College; George Stockero, Superintendent, Copper Country ISD; Chris Van Arsdale, Emergency Management Coordinator, Houghton County; and Jeff Ratcliffe, Executive Director, KEDA. Representatives from Aspirus and Upper Great Lakes Family Health have been invited.
