Refill U.P. is a local business started to address the problem of single-use plastic recycling, Only about 9 percent of the plastic ever produced is recycled. The rest ends up in landfills and eventually in our outdoor spaces, waterways, the bellies of animals and fish, and our own bodies. Brianna Tucker and Travis Wakeham created Refill U.P. to offer a sustainable alternative. Their refillery offers products that are clean, plastic-free and safe. Rather than purchasing products in a single-use container each time you need shampoo, conditioner, lotion, dish soap, laundry detergent, all-purpose cleaner, etc., at Refill U.P. you can simply refill extended use containers with as much or as little of those products as you need.
