Beginning Clay Classes with Elaine Eikenberry
Hancock- This is a six-week class where beginners are introduced to the joy of working with clay. Students will learn basic wheel throwing skills, wedging, centering, lifting, shaping, trimming, and glazing. This is a perfect environment to find your creative expression with a helpful and enthusiastic instructor. An additional 10 hours of studio time are available to enrolled students. No prior art experience is necessary to take this course. This class builds on skill level each week. Sign up for either the morning or evening session.
Class happens on Tuesdays September 12, 19, 26 & October 10, 17, & 24at the Copper Country Community Arts Center at 126 Quincy Street in Hancock. Choose from the morning session 10am-Noon, or the evening session 6:30-8:30. The fee is $195 by August 29; $205 by September 5. Call 906-482-2333 for more information or to register.
