DESCRIPTION:The Dynamic and Resilient Nature of Rivers - Dr.'s Casey Huckins and Amy Marcarelli\, and PhD Candidate Chris Adams from the Department of Biological Sciences and the Great Lakes Research Center will present an overview of the dynamics and resilience of the structure and ecology of rivers in response to disturbance such as high flow events. During this presentation they will share aspects of their ongoing research on the Pilgrim River. Free and open to the public. This Natural History Seminar will start at 7 pm\, at the Carnegie Museum in Houghton.
