DESCRIPTION:The food pantry will be available to anyone in the community. Those who receive food will be asked to provide their address and the names and ages of family members in their household. Volunteers from throughout the Finlandia University community will be on hand to help distribute food. There will be a limited supply of boxes to carry away the 50 pounds of food distributed to each family. Therefore\, those who receive food are asked to bring a container if possible.\n\nThere will be 15\,000 pounds of food available delivered in a refrigerated truck. The food should serve up to 300 families\, and will be available on a first-come first-serve basis.\n\n\n\nTo volunteer at the mobile food pantry\, or to learn more about the event\, contact Rene Johnson at rene.johnson@finlandia.edu\, or 906-487-7558.
