It also includes the 50 km skiathlon (25 km classic and 25 km).  The Great Bear Chase has earned a reputation as a skier-oriented weekend that allows skiers of all experience levels to finish their season with a high quality event.\n\nAll events are chip timed\, and compete on beautiful power tilled trails.\n\nAlso included is Great Bear Chase shirt\, famous (and fabulous) pasty and soup lunch\, custom awards.\n\nIt's a birkie qualifier and member of CXC marathon cup series.
