DESCRIPTION:Based out of the Chassell Heritage Center\, Friends of Fashion acquires and maintains a collection of vintage garments from the mid 1800s through the present day. Each fashion show shares a description of the garments and the stories and history of those who wore them. We welcome you to come with us for an outing to one of the Copper Country's early resorts where the women wore furs\, bathing suits (modest)\, and gowns. This informative and fun event is appropriate for all ages and includes live musical accompaniment. This event is made possible with the Michigan Humanities and the Michigan Arts and Culture Council funding.
