DESCRIPTION:After School Science & Engineering Classes\n\n6 Thursday Sessions ~ Jan. 14th  Feb. 18th from 4:00   5:30 PM\n\n \n\nTaught by Michigan Tech science and engineering students\n\nCoordinated by Michigan Tech Center for Science & Environmental Outreach at the Great Lakes Research Center\n\n \n\nGr. 1-2 Engineering Explorations\n\nStudents will design the best paste\, a bridge to hold the most weight\, a boat that floats\, a protective helmet for a brain\, the tallest tower to withstand a hurricane\, and more!\n\n \n\nGr. 3-5 & Gr. 6-8:\n\n Discover Your Creative Confidence & Inner Maker\n\n at our 1st ever mobile MakerSpace for youth! (1 class per age group)\n\n \n\nThis class will introduce students to design thinking\, creativity\, and innovation.\n\nAction-filled problem solving! Students put ideas into action using a variety of materials.  Tinker\, dream\, invent!
